Gardening? As in, not maintenance but actual gardening seems to be uncommon.

I love to garden. Are you growing things this year? I have some tomatoes I'm waiting to transplant, a mess of carrots, cucumbers, and french beans, a strawberry patch, and my little herb garden.

It's going into winter so I've harvested the last of the corn, have some overly enthusiastic zucchini, the strawberries* are rocking on as are my herbs* - I'm thinking I'm going to cut the vietnamese mint way back cause it turns out none of us like it. I've got snowpeas but...I'm not sure what went wrong, they grew and floweredbut I never got any peas? This is my first pea attempt.

My forever plants, the potato, carrots, shallots and avocado saplings* are doing fine (even after possums did their best to strip them BUT I WON THAT BATTLE HAH).

The tomatoes unfortunately died during the heatwave and the brussel sprouts have been struggling to sprout for the same reasons.

Chilli plant* is still making chilli but hasn't grown at all this summer.

On the not edible side; my zanzibar doubled in size and of the 7 cuttings 2 have grown new leaves and a third has grown a tuber.

*All these guys are potted cause I rent and want to keep them until I get my own place

PS the avocado's are grown from avocados I ate I'm so proud.
