I think that's what made it a perfect plot twist. It is so obvious if you know it's going to happen, but if you don't, it pulls the rug out from under you. The best twists, imo, are the ones like that - the ones that make perfect sense when you go back and think about it, and the clues seem really obvious, but you just couldn't make the connection the first time in.

+1 That is exactly why I agree with you on The Sixth Sense being one of the best twists. Love stuff like that. Not over the top, just really well done.
