The first time I found a tag tuned me off a fic (rather than being an intentional warning), was "Character of Color" on a Static Shock fic. The only thing this tells me about your fic is that everything in your fic is gonna be about politics: it'll have a politically charged plot, a politically charged relationship, a politically charged background and the whole reason for the fic to exist is as an exposé of your political views and how PC and awesome you are.

That would actually be useful in terms of finding fic though (for someone who *was* into that), unlike some ridiculously specific ones.
