I am a bit worried about it as not everyone is great with talk shows and talk shows are more often then not pretty stale and even talented comedians can do poorly with them.

Celebrity interviews are usually horrible too unless you have a really good guest. Conan was my favorite late night host back in the day but even in his case I'd often skip the interviews.
