When that day rolls around I try to eat one of their favorite foods or watch one of their favorite shows or do something else like that to honor their memory.

One, you knew them (yeah, yeah, it was on the internet, but you still knew them).
Two, you don't do it every day.
It's something that's interesting to ponder, because I think it's actually kind of a sliding scale. I'll admit that I don't really know where the exact line is. But I think it lies somewhere at the point where fascination/devotion begins to impact a person's everyday life.
