Wow. This is a bit much. And especially the hate on the actress. Personally I'm not sold on Clara yet, but I don't have strong feelings either way. I don't hate her, I just find her kind of boring. I think she'll be better with Capaldi, though. I don't think she had great on-screen chemistry with Matt.

Yeah I'm hoping I'll prefer her in the next series too. I really want to like her but so far I just don't care about her.

OP here. Perhaps my secret was unclear - I have nothing against the actress, I'm just sick of seeing her all over my dash. But I really have nothing against her personally.

I think the writing for Clara is meh, but Jenna is a really strong actress from what I can see which makes me slightly optimistic for her in future episodes. lol we'll see though.

I don't know anything about Jenna as an actress, but I can see things there that make me think I'll like her better with Capaldi. She just didn't mesh well with Matt and she wasn't given much characterization to work with. We don't really know much about Clara as a person yet.

Eh, I liked her much better with Eleven than I liked Amy/Eleven, but to each their own. Hopefully she'll be amazing with Capaldi's Doctor.
