Are we doing Doctor-Who Anti-Moffat wank again too? Good grief, we did OUaT Regina-wank last week, and now this! Is there nothing else on the horizon in fandom to get excited over? How about AoS and Ward being the Hydra mole? Surely that is worth an outraged secret or two?

If you read the secret, it's not necessarily anti - Moffat wank (the OP is actually begging Moffat to let Clara leave after S8), just anti - Clara. But it'll likely turn into anti -Moffat wank as usual before too long.

I find the face-scratching-out creepy. Not so much the content secret, because being sick to death of an actor and not wanting to hear anything else about them please god is entirely understandable and tumblr savioring isn't hurting anything, but the scratching out.

Wow. This is a bit much. And especially the hate on the actress. Personally I'm not sold on Clara yet, but I don't have strong feelings either way. I don't hate her, I just find her kind of boring. I think she'll be better with Capaldi, though. I don't think she had great on-screen chemistry with Matt.

I've had characters that I can't stand, I just keep scrolling and I'm sure not reading the posts/comments to find out what people are saying about that character.

So there is a female character you dislike in your fandom: why is this secret? It's not as if you are the first and only one, most fandoms have one or several unpopular female characters. Regardless of how unpopular you think your dislike is (either because you think your dislike is irrational or because this character is popular with the majority of the other fans), I do not get why you posted this secret: do you think you are a unique snowflake or are you conducting a poll to see how many people here share your opinion?

Especially if you are referring to Clara in Doctor Who: she doesn't seem to be very popular with anyone, actually? For instance, I find her character unsympathetic and find the actress both untalented and not cute enough to make up for her terrible, sub-par story arcs on her own merits, but I am neither ashamed to admit it in public or feel that my opinion is not shared by the majority of Doctor Who fans. The most positive fans opinions I ever read about Clara are: 'She's not so bad!' or 'I will give her a chance just in case', which I would call damning her with faint praise, really.

Personally, I like her, but I understand how you feel. That happened to me with Rory (yes, there is someone who didn't like Rory). Loved Amy, was fine with River, but man, Rory irritated the hell out of me. Just consider yourself lucky you can block at least some of what you don't like. That wasn't always the case. The inability to get away from the flood of squeeing about Castiel when he first showed up is what drove me away from SPN (yes, there is also someone who doesn't like Castiel). At least you can still enjoy Who while waiting for a new companion. And one will come eventually.

Clara is possibly the most inoffensive companion of all time. If she was ACTUALLY annoying from time to time, she'd at least be more interesting.
