I keep going back to A League of Their Own. It's a little glurge-y, but damnit it's charming as hell and I love literally every character in it.

Also I've been strangely enamored lately with the movie version of 1984 with John Hurt. He's brilliant as Winston, and the broken city feeling is captured exquisitely. One of my favorite book-to-movie adaptations, hands down.

Also I gave Soylent Green a shot the other day-- it's actually a lot less campy than I thought it would be, and if you're into dystopian sci-fi, you could do a lot worse.

A League of Their Own was mostly filmed about a mile from where I'm sitting. I remember Mom sending me an article on the town trying to boycott Madonna after she made the comment 'there's nothing to do here' - of course, she's absolutely right. There is no nightlife here whatsoever, even now, thirty years later.
