Agreed. I've watched LPs of games and then gone out and bought them and played them myself and the two experiences were nothing alike. When you watch an LP, you can just sit back and relax because you're not in control of the situation. You're not the one making the decisions about what to do, where to go next, whether to use this move or that move... it makes the entire experience far more intense than just sitting back and watching someone else do all of the hard work for you.
