Joining in with 'Why is this a secret?' because Watership Down is a great book. The movie terrified the crap out of me as a little kid so I didn't end up reading the book until high school when I checked it out from the library on a random whim. I was about halfway through when I bought my own copy because I liked it so much. It's one of those books I can read anytime no matter what mood I'm in and get sucked right in.
