Ugh, show. Way to make a scene that was disturbing in the books worse. In the books, the Jaime/Cersei scene was rough, but it wasn't rape. What was shown on Sunday was. And yet the director does not think it was rape. Even though Cersei was struggling and saying no the entire time.

Way to ruin all of Jaime's character growth. And what is worse since the director does not think it was rape, nothing is probably going to come of it.

I'm okay with a lot of the changes from the book, but this one i'm not. Its even worse than the changed Dany and Drogo scene because that scene was still rape in the books, though in a different way, and because at least they were clearly intentionally changing the scene.

Don't you know that if the protesting party feels any pleasure, then, in the end, it isn't rape hurr hurr hurr.

I was on the edge of writing GoT off at the end of last season, and I think my patronage of it has about run its course. I'm hate more than I enjoy at this point.

Eh, rereading the passage in the books, it came across at the very least as sexual assault at first. Seeing as how Cersei objected at first. The whole scene was skeevy but the show made it worse.

GRRM said she wanted to have sex with him, just not near their son. She does want to though, and it's really not rape at all. That shit last night, though? No. No, no, a thousand times no.

I'm done. I'm off the GoT train.
