...Okay, maybe this person is worse than Keiji Inafune. This makes me a very sad fan D: To just use the characters like that and then think it's perfectly fine to FORGET about them?!

I think I'm just gonna play up to the third game. Fuck anything after that -_-

I started out liking it! Then the extensive monologuing and Light got increasingly on my nerves, and I was about to give up and then Near showed up.

20. XD Honestly, IF it were like it was in the PW world, I'd look into it too! You'd be all dramatic and then there'd be so many twists and people would burst into the room at the last minute with important evidence and I'm sure someone would be playing awesome music in the background... however, the real legal world seems a bit boring and tedious to me. Ah well.. I can dream though...

24. Me too, I'm not really looking into the spin offs and sequels, but the icons and art are great.

30. If the American Spaced is crap, I'm just going to avoid it like the plague. I don't think it'd ruin the original for me, especially as none of the people from the original is involved. I can seperate the two from association.

Plot is slow - because of releases, anyway, altogether they move FAST - and there's only 30-odd chapters all in all, but give it a chance. Really. You won't lose anything.

Oh really? Well, I haven't played the game yet. Just read some random spoilers, but I can't say that I wasn't disappointed with how it all turned out. :( It's kind of sad to think about after T&T had such a great ending...

I'M ALMOST TEMPTED TO DO IT!
But I don't know the first thing about fandom communities (other than capslock. :V) or what to call it.

O NOEZ SPOILARS.

Not to get into a tizzy or anything, but...Phoenix isn't bankrupt. He works a steady job supporting his daughter (pretty well, too, judging by the amount of crap filling their office). The "hobo" thing is a joke - he's probably making more money doing what he is now than he did as a lawyer working 4 cases a year.

I think people forget (or simply don't know) that what happened to Phoenix took place within a few hours. Edgeworth and Maya didn't abandon him, there simply wasn't time, and we don't get to see them in the aftermath because we don't SEE the direct aftermath. And there is an easter egg to show that Maya hasn't vanished - she and Phoenix are still in touch. But they don't show up because it's not their story any more.

Not that I don't think people should be upset by it, because it is quite a change. But Phoenix is still sarcastic (just out loud instead of in his own mind), and motivated, and clever, and caring, and every bit as much the same Phoenix he always was, to me.

Just...unshaven and in a silly hat. <3

9 - I'm glad you liked my secret :3 Yes I got a kinda bizarra taste in games, which includes cute chibi-based RPGs, survival horror (SH 4evar) and FPS. The first two games I purchased along with my 360 were Valve's The Orange Box (including the whole Half Life 2 series) and Eternal Sonata. :P

Whenever I play SH, Fatal Frame or any other survival horror, I ALWAYS do it alone, in the night and with all the lights out. It's a part of the charm of this kind of games to me.

8. That's one of my favorite things to roleplay, when I'm lucky enough to find it. But then it just turns out to be based around smut. How unoriginal.

19. I think this might be a slowly new (in the last five years) trend growing. When I was first into anime (like 90 or 91) I remember everyone I talked to, even girls, were into shounen/shoujo etc.
I love shounen and some shoujo but yes, my favorites are dark anime and sci-fi.

31. I agree. It's why I can't really get into the fandoms I want to get into. I like my characters but I don't care bout their sexual lives. I find them much more interesting when it's not focused on sex.

That sort of makes it a lot more better, actually. I just hope the game explains it a lot more! I think my main beef WITH this game is the lack of presence of the characters you grow to love in the first three games, you know?

But man is Phoenix sexy even in that new outfit. But thank you for pointing that out! Geh, should reserve judgment until I play the game instead of relying on summaries.

The game doesn't really explain much concerning Phoenix's old friends... But I've been trying to look at it from the most positive perspective possible: if there wasn't room in the game to explain everything Edgeworth and Maya went through along with Phoenix, I'm satisfied with not seeing them at all and filling in the blanks myself.

That's what all the Japanese fanartists are doing anyway XD;;; (so much hot fanart of Glasses!Edgeworth <33). What Phoenix does with his friends when Apollo isn't around is fandom's territory now. And I for one intend to take full advantage of it! :3

That's a really good attitude to have about it! And sure, I mean, aren't we all filling in the blanks in some way or the other? (I wanted a monocle!Edgey xD) and at this point, I wouldn't trust Capcom with Edgey and Maya at all to be honest, but oh well. Fandom's there for a reason!

And and and, if you're doing more with that area, then please point me to good fanart/fanfic? ♥ I'd love to see some nice stories for Phoenix and his friends set in the future. :D

Honestly? I... have little to no idea. I guess it's partly because I am afraid of people and they are less intimidating when dead, and party because I also have a slight guro fetish. *shrug*
