I wish you hadn't made it about actors, that limited some of my choices.

Though Doom? Really? (If you must get one syllable movies starting with D that Karl Urban is in, go with Dredd!)

As for me, I only watched Pulp Fiction because Uma Thurman was in it. I thought it was gonna suck ass.

I added actor/creator to cover more things like video game companies, authors, directors, etc. It is hard trying to find an all encompassing word so that my questions are not a mile long. :(

And I like Dredd too (if nothing else Urban has a nice butt). But I actually expected to enjoy Dredd.

I avoided Pulp Fiction at first because i thought it was going to suck because it has John Travolta and Bruce Willis in it and in '94 both of them were pretty notorious for being in a lot of shitty movies. It turned out to be one of my favorite movies ever.
