i've watched an entire season of the practice just to see michael emerson as a psychotic serial killer (admittedly i'd do a lot more than that for him as you can see below) and well, it wasn't the best show i've ever watched but it was pretty good. i think a lot of cop shows today owe some of their tropes and style to this one.

i've also watched saw for the same actor (i have it bad ok), expecting nothing but blood and cringeworthy dialogue. it really wasn't as bad as some people claim it is. sure, the camera gets so shaky sometimes you wonder if the cameraman has parkinson's, but overall it wasn't as cliché as it could have been, and the cast was pretty great (i didn't expect to see ken leung and it made me ridiculously happy).

i'm still wary regarding zorro, though. ilu michael, but idk if seeing you stealing the shit out of every scene you're in is worth having to sit through every scene you aren't in. i've got to admit the muttonchops were pretty cute though.

Which Saw? Because the first one was pretty damn good (even if critics did not like it). And Michael Emerson plays a good creepy dude.

the first one, actually! and it was indeed good, but i've seen a lot of backlash against it and i feel it's really unwarranted.

he does indeed, though i'd hate to see him reduced to typecasting.

Michael Emerson is weird like that. He looks kind of like a bird with giant glasses and I just think he's appealing as hell. He should be in something with Kevin Spacey. I don't even care. I crush on them bad.

oh man, yes. he has such an unusual and unique face, but he also this weird charisma that's just mesmerizing. he also has the best damn voice in the entire universe.
idk about kevin spacey (never seen anything he's in) but michael can make anyone look good just by playing off them, so i'd watch it.
