Does fanmail count? I once wrote an awkward letter to one of the screenwriters of Murder Rooms and man, he was SO nice about it. He totally wrote about his feelings and plans and other stuff.

He also wrote a series of novels that is pretty much in my top 5 favourites of all times. I wish I could meet him.

It counts because he totally wrote back and that's awesome. I like hearing stories about celebrities who are so appreciative of their fans.

Yes, I love it, too. Always cheers me up when celebs do not Arthur Conan Doyle their fans.

He just got really sick of them at one point. And tbh I blame the fans and not ACD.

I guess I love it when fans do not Arthur Conan Doyle's fans the creators of the canon source who, in turn, do not Arthur Conan Doyle them back.

I can see that though, like how some of the bigger celebrities lose their patience with the paparazzi and the stalker fans.
