I haven't finished Fables yet, but I agree with this secret. Bigby isn't great, Snow isn't great, the animal fables are treated like shit, most of the characters are self-centered assholes. I just like the IDEA of it so much that I keep reading, hoping it gets better (guess it doesn't, huh?)

Aw, man, I love her. I love her style--she explains both basics and more complicated concepts in a lighthearted but still takes-no-shit way. I guess I can see how that could come off condescending, but to me she comes off more like somebody who's gonna explain it once, really well, so she doesn't have to do it again, lol

No, yeah, I get this. It's hard for me to enjoy a story if I'm unable to actually read it.

(That said, if I know someone's got dyslexia or is ESL or something like that, and they're doing their best to get things right, yet still have a couple typos here and there, I can overlook that.)
