I will be cleaning out my storm shelter for the upcoming summer months. Hopefully I won't have to use it. I may also treat myself because I got a raise at work (a complete surprise!).

What is everyone else going to be doing?

At first I was disappointed because I thought I would be staying at my girlfriend's place this weekend but then that fell through. But then my friend invited me to have another Teen Wolf marathon on Sunday. Hopefully I can get through the rest of season 3. I'm going to bake raspberry lemon muffins for us to eat.

Playing RuneScape, trying to decide if I need a new graphics card more urgently than I need new bras (and socks... and knickers). Double and triple guessing if the graphics card I selected is actually good or if my brother was just humouring me, looking for a job.

For the graphics card, maybe go to Tigerdirect or Newegg and look at the reviews on there. Mostly tech people buy stuff so they are generally knowledgeable.

Ugh, you got a warning this afternoon too? I was listening to the radio when the emergency broadcast system alarm went off. I wasn't paying much attention and I thought it was a test and flipped it to another station only to hear it there too. And that's when my, "Uh-Oh" alarm went off. Tornadoes. Severe Thunder storms. Hail. Hail. And more Hail.

Yeah, this looks like it is going to be a fun Summer.

As far as what I am doing this weekend, I am going to catch up on sleep. That's what I am going to do.

Trying to decide if I should go to my city's walk-in clinic tomorrow (it's in the city centre, and there's a home match tomorrow, and I generally try to avoid being in the same place as footie fans) or Sunday, or if it can wait until Monday, when I'll be in that area anyway.

I spoke to the pharmacist* at the nearby pharmacy today, and showed her the cut on my hip. She said it's possibly infected and to go to the walk-in centre.

*Pharmacists are trained to give minor medical advice, and the NHS actually advises that you go to them first, before seeking other treatment.

What exactly is a storm shelter? Is it...all I can picture is a bunker type basement thanks to some news article.

I'm just wrapping up my last night with our Yu-Gi-Oh! club. This is about the only thing I'm going to miss when I graduate, so I'm a bit sad.

...other than that, cleaning my shit up in preparation for going home next week, and studying for finals. And babysitting on Sunday. and hanging out with some friends a bit tomorrow. and going to the store. yay

Hopefully, making up a nice big batch of soup (I have a ton of tinned beans that need to be used, and we got a whole lot of nearly-expired potatoes that need to be chopped up) and freezing it, since we're rapidly approaching cold weather ;_; (Southern hemisphere. It's late autumn here.)

Cheering on the rest of my Camp NaNo cabin for the last weekend - I've finished, a few people are VERY close, a few people could benefit from a few marathons or sprints.

Hopefully doing some reading, since I've been avoiding it while doing aforementioned Camp NaNo.

And poking around with this assessment task. It's nothing too involved and I have a week to do it, though - I COULD finish it in a day, but I'd rather take it easy.
