Playing RuneScape, trying to decide if I need a new graphics card more urgently than I need new bras (and socks... and knickers). Double and triple guessing if the graphics card I selected is actually good or if my brother was just humouring me, looking for a job.

For the graphics card, maybe go to Tigerdirect or Newegg and look at the reviews on there. Mostly tech people buy stuff so they are generally knowledgeable.

For tigerdirect I can't find out if they ship to the UK, or the prices for doing so, without creating an account.

Newegg was in GBP immediately upon arrival, always a good sign. However, every single one of their graphics cards has a "shipping restrictions apply" banner that says they can't ship it for reasons.

You can just use the websites to see if it has good reviews and then buy it from a site you usually use. :)

Depends on the system you're putting it into. I wouldn't put something with those kinds of specs into any system older than two years, or a custom-built system that might not have the capability to use/support it. Check your motherboard manufacturer's website (or ask at the tech desk of whatever store you bought the rig from), and see if there are, or will be, any issues. If there's any kind of customized overclocking in place on your system now, you might be asking for trouble.

It's under 2 years old. Bought on eBay, had a knackered hard drive on arrival (great sign, huh?). Has had the PSU replaced already this year, due to that going on me.

Motherboard... let's see what speccy says about that. And as usual, it's all gibberish to me.
