we had a load of tulips this year, at least half a dozen kinds!
They're mostly gone now, but they were amazing. Our wisteria is also nicely doing this year.
I want to do something with all the pepperment that runs wild on the side, aside from tea, that is. Peppermint syrup? Or maybe even something practical for teeth?

We have an incredible surplus of mint every year. Last year, we made several glasses of hot mint jelly - it's basically a jam with chopped mint, apple juice/vinegar and chilli and it's super delicious on chicken or with couscous/tabulé and yoghurt. It's also a great gift.
