It's a terrible song and music video, but the shitstorm over both is ott. SJW's have gotten so batshit with what they define as racist that some consider eating food from a foreign country or learning another language "cultural appropriation".

It's not like Japan itself isn't horribly racist to some groups, anyway. They also seem to fetishize America the same way Americans fetishize Japan. From what I can tell, only white tumblrers seemed to get their undies in a twist over this song because they never bring attention to things that actually matter.

I learned about eggs in burgers when I moved to Japan, now I've brought it back with me to America. It's sooo good omg

There's ap lace in driving distance of me where you can get egg-burgers. Though I admit I haven't seen them all that much in my area, I think that's a more regional thing? Tastes good though.

That was so strange when I was scrolling by and thought this was a literal picture of me and every other American I know (including the men). Took a second to figure out it's just a picture, like Hey, it looks exactly like me! Burger hand and gun belt, too!

It's not about sexualizing anyway, it's about fetishizing and stereotyping which Japan does all the time to other nations (America, China, etc).
