I absolutely LOVE Garnet and I get tired of all the hate she gets. She had a miserable go of it and she managed to come out of the other side and still rock being a queen.

It is, actually, considering that there did (and still do) exist a lot conspiracy theories that Kuja was a woman in the original game and evil censors/wrong translation/whatever turned him male. Which is untrue, but was very persistent. But I guess that was before your time.

To be fair, I really thought he WAS a woman on my first play through until his gender was addressed in dialogue.
