I actually wouldn't mind some more procedural elements, but that's because Team Sassy Science is the shit. I want more of them always. (What do you mean "Takiawase happened", I have no idea what you're talking about.)

Otherwise, yeah, part of the point is that it's not just another L&O. Particularly in this season, as we're moving beyond the vaguely procedural trappings and becoming predominantly a horror/psychological thriller. Honestly, Hannibal was built from the ground up as a show about Will and Hannibal's relationship. If you changed that, I don't think the show would be even remotely recognizable.

Yeah, I'm not buying that this is a troll secret, because the procedural aspects, and there being more of them last season were cool. But it sounds like the OP would be better off just watching a different show if they don't want 'pretentious' dream sequences and the like.
