Nope, can't see it either. Heck, I can't see Hiddleston as Louis either. (Yes, Tom is good looking but I don't see him as Louis.)

However, if they ever make a late 17th/early 18th century period vampire film with those two, I am there.

I like Tom Hiddleston, but he wouldn't really be good as Louis. Louis is mopey, self-pitying, humourless and not very bright. (and he's my favourite character)

Between this and seeing that some people genuinely want him as Boba Fett in a possible 'Star Wars' spin-off, I just don't get why people feel the need to want Benedict Cumberbatch in everything lately. I feel like the 'clueless adult' in those old Cinnamon Toast Crunch commercials who can't "see" the appeal or something.

I don't want this to happen (not that I have anything against either actor, or even because the book is sacred or anything like that, I simply think if it happened it should be someone other than these two because it would be all I saw on my dash for about nine months and I would go insane), but I do like this art. Even if Benedict doesn't particularly look like Benedict.

I like this fanart, too. I just interpret it as Hiddleston playing Lestat and Cumberbatch playing Louis. I honestly don't think Cumberbatch has the charisma and energy to play Louis. *shrug*

Neither of them fit! Anne Rice's characters are all pretty or conventionally good looking or beautiful, they don't look like aliens or average. Also as someone else said, they're too old, both Lestat and Louis were in their 20's when they were turned into vampires.

That... I love Hiddleston and I appreciate both of them as actors but this is just wrong. (Not to mention that I really think casting one of the most English looking guys I can think of as the oh so pretty Frenchy Lestat is just... why would anyone think that's a good idea?)
