What do you like with your Toast Fandom Secrets?

The question is above. I want to see if some people do interesting things with their food.

I tend to go for either Gochujang (korean spicy paste), honey, marmite or a mix (gochujang works well with either.)

Peanut butter on warm toast it so good. Also I like putting jelly and apple butter on mine. Not together though. Nothing fancy.

Peanut butter, mashed avocado, or cheese and tomato are my toast mainstays.

Butter and blackberry jelly, or blueberry jelly.

Or toast the bread, add butter, add cinnamon and sugar and place under broiler in oven until the sugar begins to bubble and melt. Watch carefully so it doesn't burn, eat carefully because it's very hot.

I also like to have unbuttered toast with my spaghetti.

Haven't eaten toast in a long time (I just rarely eat bread; not for health reasons, I just don't have a use for it). But anyways, butter is just perfect! Sometimes cinnamon sugar on top for that extra special something. Though now I'm thinking of grilled cheese sandwiches. Hm, grilled cheese with cinnamon. Nope, I can't see it.

And now I'll segue that into Powdered Toast Man...

Kind of the opposite of toast, but when I was in elementary school I really liked butter sandwiches.

...nobody answered with savoury options? Garlic toast. Aaaaallll the garlic toast. (I don't need friends I don't even care. LOL.) Failing that, bruschetta all the way. Or bruschetta on garlic toast! Alternately, a thick layer of parmesan, with chives and/or thinly-sliced red onion. Under the broiler until the cheese bubbles.

OBsandwich: Toasted tomato sandwich with (real) mayo, red onion, and pepper.

WHY AM I HUNGRY I NEED TO SLEEP NOW you suck (you don't suck).

For breakfast everyday I usually have one slice of toast with either butter+honey OR butter+jam OR peanut butter+honey OR on a rare day butter+vegemite. (I need the combo, okay. One condiment alone isn't enough.)

Occasionally, I will have a toastie - usually I'll just go for whatever leftover meat I have in the fridge, cheese and tomato, buttered on the outside to make it crispy.

Peanut butter on one piece, cream cheese frosting on the other, spread on hot toast so that they're melt-y, then put together to make an incredible sandwich. So good.

I like my toast a few ways. Butter, peanut butter, nutella, apple butter, jam or jelly (blackberry is my favorite, but grape and strawberry are good too). I also really like cream cheese with jelly on top on my toast. There's just so many choices!

I'm usually boring. Peanut butter, or jam, or butter... sometimes butter with cinnamon and brown sugar, as a dessert. That's about it really.

Though I did make pizza toast not long ago.

On really, really really good whole-meal bread with like, nuts and things in it, butter and a dash of salt, or butter and cheese (thin-sliced sharp white cheddar) or butter and locally-made blackberry jelly.

On regular bread - peanut butter.

I grew up with something on toast being a common breakfast. Baked Beans on toast, canned spaghetti, canned stew, practically anything canned can be served on toast. Eggs on toast as well, scrambled or fried - the latter preferably with runny yolks.

I used to like having avocado and Marmite (Sanitarium HFC Vegemite equivalent) together on toast, but I have grown to like avocado on it's own, with just a sprinkle of salt.

An old favourite of mine is cheese-on-toast. Toast a couple of slices of bread, butter them thinly, spread them with tomato paste, then cover with your favourite cheese and put under a grill until the cheese has melted. Eat hot while the cheese is still melty.

I prefer to have cheddar cheese on cheese-on-toast, mostly because it's the type I grew up with. Grated for preference, but if all I have is a block, I'm more likely to slice it because I hate grating things. Processed cheese slices are okay, but I prefer those on toasted cheese sandwiches (see yesterday's tomato thread, for toasted tomato sandwiches - the cheese version doesn't need any extra salt though).
