I mean, what happened with Ford was a little weird anyways, but...um. Wat.

Black guy gets hooked on drugs, screws up his military career, joins a gang, goes ~~car~~spaceshipjacking, probably dies but nobody cares. Seems depressingly mundane, apart from the spaceship part. Ford took a fairly standard life-pathway for a black guy. If we count him as being an "Omega" we can even extend that to getting assraped as the jailhouse bitch.

Somehow I doubt the actual show was omega-verse so. Your ~omega discrimination~ seems really ridic, anon. But I do appreciate that the only two alphas in this picture are women.

Firstly, if I was ever going to label characters that way, I don't know that I'd call Ford an omega. Secondly, the character wasn't really working and the writers figured that out. Thirdly, if you're trying to draw parallels about racism or sexism or military structure (which, frankly, is the only reason I can see for posting this secret in any serious way), I don't get it.

Who would Ford be in your opinion?

The character worked just fine, thank you very much. The actor, however, was the one that had to go. This is directly from the set from another actor.

I can't take this seriously, but even though a/b/o isn't my thing I'm kinda curious about whether Ronon would be alpha or beta. It's kind of fun- Like hogwarts houses!

I think I actually read a SGA story with the a/b/o designations. Had Ronon in it, if I remember correctly.

There's nothing like the wonderful world of Magical Butt Babies, insurmountable hormones, animal dicks, dubious or non-existent consent, and Bizarro World stereotyping that let's me know exactly who to ignore in a fandom. Believe me, more worldviews, prejudices, ignorance, and inexperience come shining through in this trope than any other.
