Uh... personally I think the only fandom sacred cow that I completely dislike is BBC Sherlock, and I'm not even sure if that's a sacred cow anymore. I have problems with a lot of Whedon's stuff, esp Buffy and Firefly, but I can absolutely see the appeal and can even enjoy parts of them (for example, parts of Buffy that don't have anything to do with Xander).

I hate Xander too! I did not know it was okay to say so in fandom though :(

I have no idea whether it's okay to say it in fandom or not, I'm not really in Buffy fandom at all. But it's good to see someone of a like mind, he does seem to be kind of a fandom darling.

Xander bashing vs Xander defenders are a common passtime in the fandom.

I hate Xander too. I love most of Buffy, but I can't stand Xander.

I have other problems as well - you get tired of the dialogue after a while - but Xander is definitely the biggest. He is the worst.
