JPop Fandom Sacred Cows I dislike:

Takahashi Ai - her voice isn't THAT good and she has the personality of a box of rocks.
Tokyo Girls' Style - Most of their music is dull and nothing has made the group live up to the hype.

I didn't hate it, but the third season of BBC Sherlock was legitimately bad television. Bad writing, phoned in performances, and generally sloppy mediocrity all around.

On the subject of Buffy.

Joss Whedon.

The guy has had one movie which was good (albeit one with a lot of other creatives involved), Avengers, and a partial credit in one mostly good show, Buffy, but everything else has flopped big time. He's treated like the second coming, yet the thing he is most acclaimed for, and acclaimed by actual feminists and liberals no less, is a show which was essentially a love letter to the confederate states and their way featuring Joss Whedon's creepy fetish for barefoot girls. He even worked his foot fetish into that movie that everyone loves.

Of course you aren't allowed to criticize Whedon or the Racist Rocketship Show without getting dogpiled on.

Uh... personally I think the only fandom sacred cow that I completely dislike is BBC Sherlock, and I'm not even sure if that's a sacred cow anymore. I have problems with a lot of Whedon's stuff, esp Buffy and Firefly, but I can absolutely see the appeal and can even enjoy parts of them (for example, parts of Buffy that don't have anything to do with Xander).

The MCU, barring 'Guardians of the Galaxy'. Though I wouldn't say it's outright "hate", more or less apathy. None of the movies have really "clicked" with me, and tbh as far as Marvel comics go, I've always liked their sci-fi/cosmic-y stories and characters the best (hence why I'm super hyped for GOTG). But I totally get why people enjoy them, so I leave well enough alone.

Young Justice is another one, also a "apathy not hate". Never could get into that show either, but I have hard time relating/getting into stories starring teenagers in the first place (for personal reasons I won't get into here), and none of the characters or story stuck with me at all the few times I did watch it. =T

The entirety of television as an entertainment medium

Morrowind. Ok, I don't hate it, but I just don't think it's the bee's knee's of Elder Scrolls games. The technology of the time made it so every character was little more than cardboard-cutouts that spewed info-dumps, and the game mechanics were annoying.

Didn't used to be but Supernatural. I watched this past season and it felt like a chore most of the time. Not planning to watch next season.

Hmm, not hate but I don't really like the Assassins Creed games all that much. I find NCIS utterly boring(but I don't know if that counts as a loved thing). I didn't hate it but season 3 of Sherlock left me pretty underwhelmed... I think that's it.

I can't think of anything I completely hate ... hate takes a lot of energy, and most of the stuff I'm indifferent to just isn't worth it.

That said, I refuse to watch Seinfeld, and only motherly love makes me put up with the JonTron / GameGrumps eps I'm being forced to watch lately. (I much prefer ZeroPunctuation.)

Stargate in general, and SGA in particular. I've watched all three of them, and Universe is actually the one I like most, SG-1 I found mostly hit and miss, and SGA I grew to loathe. In general, though, I'm just not very fond of the franchise.

Not really 'hate' so much as 'apathy,' but: Firefly. People always try to push it on me as 'the best space show EVAR!' and it's...okay. I don't hate it or anything, but I think it's just...okay. And then I've had some people act so scandalized when I say I didn't adore for it (yes, I watched it in order. The intended order, yes. No I don't need to just watch it a few more times. Really, I got it. It was fine. Can I go back to watching Farscape in peace now?).

Well I am another of those who does not so much actively hate as just feel apathetic at things, but my apathy is pointed in the general direction of most of the TV show fandoms at the moment.

SPN? Did that for a year got tired. Teen Wolf? Meh, werewolves. I am apathetic about werewolves, and vampires too. Sherlock? I managed to watch the first episode but got bored halfway through the second. Sleepy Hollow? I managed one-and-a-half episodes and got bored. Hannibal? Meh. I really just can't get into the idea of a villain protagonist. Game of Thrones? I don't feel like sitting through all that gratuitous sex and torture.

Also, for all of them, if I miss the start of the series, I feel beholden to go back and see the start and most of the time I don't feel the energy to do so.
