Preeeetttttty much all het porn is fucking awful, imo, with the exception of some rare amateur gems. The men are average to hideous, the women are mutilated and faking it, everyone is shaved down like a preteen, and the cumshots just look fuckoff nasty instead of hot. Worse, the shit they say is just fucking embarrassing and ridiculous and an instant lady boner killer. When I first turned 18 I finally got a chance to go into the back room of the video store (remember those?) and I literally gagged.

Which is strange to me because I find sex IRL fun and hot and am the furthest thing from prudish about it that you'll find this side of an aging hippie porn star. Just... whatever the fuck that's supposed to be on the screen does not even remotely resemble any sex I've ever had or would like to have in real life, ever.

And yet I find a lot of gay porn hot as hell. Sure, it has many of the same problems, but at least the guys are hot. I guess I'm just a hypocrite.

And that right there is the problem. Most het porn always crosses the line between reasonable idealization (the people are pretty, the lighting is excellent, the accidents are limited) and fucking bizarro land. It's like watching real people act out a cartoon, too ludicrous to enjoy.
