I'm not sure how old you are, but... my parents had myself and my sister when my mom was 31 and 35, IIRC. Give or take a year. My grandmother had two children in her 40s (with her last -- granted, this was, like, the 60s or early 70s -- her doctor insisted that she couldn't be pregnant and instead had a tumor, because he was so certain that she couldn't have a baby at nearly 45... nope, she was pregnant). My evil ex was born to his mother at 42. I'm sure I can think of other examples.

If you're really intent on pregnancy, I have heard the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility recommended countless times for charting fertile times. It's not so much having sex all the time as it is having sex at the right time. I'm not sure if you have an LJ account but the vaginapagina community is incredibly helpful for info on pregnancy. I've seen a lot of great advice given there, and if you don't have an account, you may want to make one just to ask... and I don't mean just the physical, either; there are folks who ask for help on how to talk to their husbands who aren't taking things as seriously.

It's a great resource (with the caveat that you want to avoid gendered greetings, and words like "crazy", because the mods will give a "safe space warning" for that... not that they really do anything except ask you to edit, but I try to let people know about that going in; even despite that, the community has been very helpful to me personally with issues I have had, and I've seen a LOT of folks trying to get pregnant getting a lot of compassion and good advice).
