Is just upping your portions slowly an option?

I'm overweight and I don't really like baked goods, either...I got there somehow.

If gaining weight, favor things like pasta or fries over rice or veggies. With the broccoli you could try eating it with a high-calorie cheese sauces (sauces in general are a way to sneak in more calories). I'm trying to think in reverse here, the things I'm NOT doing to lose weight.

Another thing is to have a heavy dinner late in the day and no longer exercise after it. Cream dds calories to soup. Eating bread with it also does. Use lots of butter on fish or meat. Things like that. If not lactose intolerant, add one or two glasses of full fat milk to you day.

Hope that helps and if not, good luck. I have a friend like you and I know being underweight is also no good.

Lactose intolerant, don't exercise at all already (and that's killing me too, I hate being so weak), can't eat more than a few bites of anything without nausea. So every bite has to count for as many calories as possible just to keep me functioning. :/

You're dead on about the sauces though. I already put condiments on everything, mostly nut butters, canned frosting, or syrups. Like I literally dip candy bars into a can of frosting just to get as many calories as possible, and I don't eat bread unless there's a ton of mayo on it. I'm so tired of sweet things. :P

That really sucks, I can understand your frustration.
