Yep. The outrage would be about the same as the shitstorm this caused, or even less. AYRT is just poisoning the well with an unverifiable assertion because of his/her views.

A little of both. I laughed because I, too, am happy at anything that chases MRA's out of the room. And I laughed because I find the stereotype presented in that particular picture to be true for lots of areas of nerds. The fedora one in particular cracked me up.

Right with you, OP. I thought that the original comic was mediocre at best, a series of cheap shots and strawmen, kinda funny but not much.

But the reaction? Totally worth it.
