24. Oh my god, I haven't thought about that game in forever. Personally, I say write for it even if there is no fandom. Because I know I've had those same thoughts for obscure fandoms... and that's when I realized that it's half of why those fandoms are obscure. If everyone who wants to hang out in a fandom doesn't make one, there simply isn't one.

32. Uh, cancer killing fandom or something, I don't even know anymore. All I just don't get is why Matt? I know it's the cool thing now to hate Matt fans, and I don't, but I've just always been really apathetic towards the idea of interpretting his character out of a few small scenes and calling it how he really is.

14. I would say you're talking about the Tsubasa Chronicle fandom but it's fairly well known we don't like our own resident misogynist. I think you should your opinions about this public though; it's really refreshing when you don't have to hide your feelings.

29. Oh god yes! I can't even remember the numbers for my OTP (upon looking it up I find it's 6918). I try getting into the fandom but I'm always lost when I see the numbers.

Pfft, I've heard so many people complain that Wincest is so OPPRESSIVE. I still love it, along with a bunch of other slash and even het pairings in the fandom. NEEDS MOAR WINCEST.

I gotta say, my experience of SPN fandom is that we are all multishippers. I know I love those boys together. Or with Ellen. Or Jess or Cassie as appropriate. Or, well, with Mel or Ava or Ruby. Or even good ole' Yellow Eyes. Or Gordon. That's right, I said it. Or Hendrickson. Or -- aw fuckit, NEEDZ MOAR ORGYPILE!

28. I don't ship Kataang at all, it's not my cup of tea and I much prefer them as friends. She acts too much like his mommy. It's weird.

Zel and Amelia, though? My first OTP and Slayers was my first anime. Amelia is somewhere around 16 or 17 in Try (I think, I haven't read up on the series in ages) and Zel is only a few years older. And if you want to complain about Zel/Amelia being squicky because of the age gap, look at Lina and Gourry. There is an even bigger age gap between the two of them. Talk about your double standards. Amelia has also grown up a lot from her first appearance in the series -- look at the character growth between the first season and Next alone. (By the time Try came around, it seemed like all that lovely character growth had been thrown out, but sometimes I like to forget Try existed in the first place.) Whether or not you want to acknowledge Zel/Amelia as canon is your own deal. I seem to remember Kanzaka saying in an interview that Amelia was brought in as a potential love interest for Zelgadis after fans were pairing Lina up with him instead of Gourry, who was always supposed to be her intended love interest from the start.

(I also disagree that Amelia would annoy Zel. By the end of the show they seem to be at least close friends. Why else would he keep her bracelet?)

I love Slayers too but sadly I wasn't able to see many episodes of it. =( I remember drawing a lot of Slayers influenced anime characters though. =) It's difficult to find subbed Slayers online and I don't think it's in stores anywhere anymore.

2. More people should ship Gonou/Kanan. It's beautiful, tragic, and not to mention canon. The shame is that I've seen far too much fic written that pretends this relationship didn't exist or downplays its importance. There wouldn't have even been a Hakkai if not for Kanan & what happened to her.

Also, I'm so leery of delving into the Phoenix Wright fandom right now, it isn't even funny. I hate being involved in fandoms that seem to go from zero to wank in thirty seconds.

15) I agree with you to a lesser extent on the pairing (I can kind of see Edgeworth liking Phoenix that way, but Phoenix strikes me as incredibly straight) and just a bit on the fandom who supports it, thought most of that is probably due to all the horrendous instantly-sappy fanfics I've read of it.
28) Where're the crazy Zutarians signing this with their blood, but bashing it for calling Kataang canon? :/

33. I used to RP with someone who pretty much made every character she played her. It was disgusting - all of the characters were whiny, semi-suicidal little bitches just like her. I see it now in RPs she plays now and I'm just glad I got out of it before it affected me too much.

THE POINT IS, I'm tired of people saying what other people like are the reasons they dropped out of the fandom and gave up on what they loved. THAT'S BULLSHIT.

Don't be a part of communities that have Wincest, or hell, if it's too hard to escape from it, just drop from the fandom.

But giving on something because you can't stop thinking of Wincest? Try to think of other pairings instead then, like Dean/Bela, whatever. Be passionate about what you like, but don't blame others for your problem.

7. I was pretty disappointed too when Tigre made it apparent that he was being sweet to her solely because he was terrified of her grandfather. I had originally thought that Tigre has a soft spot, but I was quite wrong!

15. Yeah, I don't really get it either. Especially considering how Trials and Tribulations made it readily apparent that Phoenix acts like a blubbering, blushing moron when he's in love with someone.

30. Oh, is that a Fire Emblem secret I see? Too bad it's a kind of sad one. Anyways, the guy is a jerk and quite creepily-obsessed with Nephenee; I will be the first to admit that she's the embodiment of awesome, though!
