How is this popcorn worthy? I've known so many people who have illegally downloaded photoshop. I wouldn't be surprised if a HUGE chunk of tumblr artists haven't done this. Because there are way, way, way too many starving artist on tumblr who use this program which is worth hundreds and hundreds of dollars.

I would, but I'm afraid of pirating stuff.

I don't think my anti-virus is good enough and I'd be SOL if something happen to my computer.

This. Plus, I'm the kind of person who is paranoid to expect the feds to somehow track me to the download and arrest me. I don't REALLY think that'd happen... but...

There's actually a version of Photoshop that's legal to download freely. It's actually pretty good (and yes, the full version.)

I wish I could illegally download Photoshop. I tried once and got a version that didn't work and crashed my computer, now I'm paranoid. I miss having photoshop though. :(

I'm using "White Rabbit", a beta version of CS5 because it makes me feel as if it's semi-legit, as it's not the final version but functions as if it is.

Yeah, that's why and how I got photoshop too.

Google GIMP.
Always free, and AFAIK, just as good as Photoshop provided you can hunt down all the relevant plug-ins.

I would love photoshop but the only way I would ever get it is if I downloaded it illegally as well, and I'm too paranoid. Certain things (old comics) I'm not so worried about, but I can't bring myself to download photoshop. :( If only. (The secrets I could make! The slightly less shitty icons!)

I have a pirate copy of PS6 (circa 2000) someone sent me a copy of ages ago that I'm still using. I'm sure the newer versions have more bells and whistles, but eh, it works.

Doesn't everyone? I've certainly never owned a legal copy of photoshop.

I didn't pay for my Adobe programs, but my stepdad's sister is a graphic designer and she has all of the legal copies so she just installed them on my laptop for me. I don't have the money to buy them myself but I'm also paranoid about torrenting stuff.

Trust me, most amateur artists don't buy software (unless, of course, they have money to spend).

I didn't download it, but I did put the corporate license version from work on my personal computer (kind of an old version of PS, so not I'm not super guilty about it).

I miss Paint Shop Pro.

Man, have you seen the prices on that stuff? Most people have it downloaded.

...Except me, because I have a copy of PS Elements 2 that came with a tablet I got like six years ago. And even then I had Photoshop 7 downloaded for a while til my laptop crashed. /losernerd
