What was your most recent new fandom?

By new, I mean completely new, had never been in the fandom before. Not "I just got back into MCU after Winter Soldier" if you had been in MCU fandom back after the Avengers came out. I mean your most recent discovery of a new fandom you had not been previously involved in :)

Well, I liked Marvel but never read Captain America, so it is sort of new.

But I think the newest before that is The Blacklist. Though, I don't really participate so much in fandom, I just really like the show.

Captain America. I hated, HATED the first one. Didn't even care for Steve fics. Now I can't read enough Steve fics. I am even enjoying pairings out of Steve/Bucky.

Penny Dreadful, on the grounds of Vanessa Ives, Victor Frankenstein and the Creature. I don't usually enter fandoms for shows that are currently airing, I prefer to know where stuff is going before I let myself get caught up in it, but I'm just enjoying this one too much to hang back.

I recently got interested in Arrow; I've been marathoning it for the past few weeks (though I put it on hold so I could watch Orange is the New Black season 2). I've already gotten aboard the Olicity bandwagon, so there's that.

Call of Duty Ghosts, probably. That's actually the only one that I've even contributed anything to in probably like five years anyway.

The Monstrumologist, thanks to seventh_seal and their tastes. This mixture of Gothic and modern moralist is an absolute delight. Also, THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE PROTAGONISTS. Nothing like a super close and obsessive mentor&student friendship.

I've been getting into Doctor Who but I wouldn't say that I've been getting into the fandom because the fandom is crazy

I just started watching Life, and I love it. I haven't sought out fandom yet, because I don't want to be spoiled, but I'm definitely interested to see what was made of it, and if anything is still going on.

Probably Teen Wolf? I'm not sure I would consider Fargo because while I've reblogged a couple things, I haven't read fic yet. (Though I do have the AO3 tag bookmarked.)

Defiance! After really liking Helix, I remembered I had been curious about Defiance from the promos last year. So I'm almost done with S1 and I'm enjoying it and starting to look into the fandom a little. I'm just really pleased to see actual freakin' aliens on American tv again.

Transformers. Thank you, Universal Studios California. (No, seriously. We went on the ride early in the day and I looked up stuff about the series while we were waiting for various shows, and now I'm working on season 2 of Prime.)

The Walking Dead. I'd heard it was good before but stayed away because I don't like horror...then I actually watched it and realized it's not scary at all. Not I'm super invested in the characters and eternally pressed that there's not more good fanfic.

I'm following the Smash announcements but I don't want anything to do with that fandom. My own fandoms are whackadoodle enough.

...Flight Rising? Is that a fandom? I think I'm gonna count it.
