I saw the reverse. I didn't mind the changes to Cersei because the fan misogyny would get way out of hand if she were as awful as she is in the books. Meanwhile, many Tyrion stans still thought he was a swell guy even after murdering Shae in the books.

as opposed to his haters, who think he's an evil misogynist?

I can't imagine why anyone would think he's a misogynist. It's not like he murdered his former lover. It's not like he sexually terrorized a slave. It's not like he raped a different slave. It's not like he's voiced a desire to rape his sister.

He murdered the woman who lied in court to have him killed, and then slept with the man who orchestrated the gangrape of his fiancée.

And he wanted to rape cersei as much as he wanted to rape tommen.

He murdered an 18 year old prostitute who was only doing her job the entire time because he projected too fucking hard onto her. We also have no idea whether Shae did any of what you mentioned voluntarily. I highly doubt she'd be in any position to turn down Tywin if he approached her.

Tyrion is off his hinges in ADWD, I wouldn't be surprised if he genuinely wants to rape Cersei.

if tyrion wanted to rape her, we would have seen it in his narrative.

he had sex with a prostitute, by westeros standards it wasnt rape.

He is a misogynist. I don't know how you can read his chapters and think otherwise. Even when he's protesting against marrying Sansa, he's basically thinking "She's pretty hot for a child, tho" (that is assuming GRRM intentionally wrote him like that and no letting his own creepy fetish for girl-children affect his writing). You can still appreciate the character and recognize that.

So disliking an awful female character = misogyny?

No, but I feel the sexist sentiments toward her would be much, much worse if she were as bad as book!Cersei. Basically, I think they could've left Tyrion alone and everyone would still think he shits gold, but changing Cersei was more understandable. (And there's still time for her to go off the deep end in season 5.)
