Women are useless because Omega males (back in my day, they were called Ukes) can have babies after buttsex.

Omega males have self-lubricating assholes to accommodate their Alphas (back in my day they were called Semes).

Lots of rape and gender roles, but using males for fap fodder.

Fans feel sophisticated because they're in it for the ~*~*~worldbuilding~*~*~, honest!

Oh, and Alphas have dog cocks.

Whether or not that's the case, there is something I find really interesting about the a/b/o gender roles that pop up: they're heteronormative, but almost exclusively applied to same-sex pairings. It's like the entire genre exists just to normalize same-sex pairings in the context of the modern world, because alpha/omega pairings are considered the norm and there is never any backlash for male/male or female/female. I can count the times I've seen a/b/o with male/female on one hand, and I think that's really interesting. Inventing new biology: so much easier than pretending people aren't homophobic, am I right?

Also, hey, it's not Japanese so you can't be called a weeaboo!
