So basically the rest of humanity -apart from their own little island probably composed of themselves alone- deserves to die miserable and alone, I guess?

Also setting being an -ist as irredeemable and evil isn't really helpful, when the brunt of it is caused by ignorance.

Tumblr GIFcaps tells me....He's folding napkins for the wedding. The reason this is not a secret is because even people who have never seen one single episode of BBC Sherlock can tell it's out of character. Series 3 was an atrocity.

Are you sure it's discrimination against mermaids? I thought aquaphobia referred to people who were afraid of Aquaman (and/or Namor). Although I suppose there's intersectionality that might include them in the mermaid/merman category.

There were some good moments. It didn't hold my attention, so I didn't watch most of it eather, but it wasn't -that- bad. I liked that Mycroft and Lestrade met at last!

I don't know about train wreck, but - oh man. Eps. 1 and 2 were second hand embarrassment personified. 3 was fine - I'd even call it good - but I dunno if I could make myself sit through 1 and 2 again.

I thought it was hilarious. He's going OCD over things, and there are all these napkins and he has to do *something* to keep himself occupied while John and Mary are off in the other room, so - he folds them. Kind of like meditation via origami, only it's napkins.

100% agreement, OP. But then, just about all of series 3 was embarrassingly OOC. It was like the writers just gave up and decided to make a whole season of crackfic.
