One across my chest from where I almost copped it a few years back.

Pretty proud of that one. It's ugly as sin but hey, I survived! Yeah.

I got lots, but the most notable one is a nickel sized scar on the back of my right leg, near the kneepit. I tore out a chunk of flesh out at the community pool on the ladder as i was getting out if the pool.

One on my hip when I fell of my bicycle.

I also had on my back from when I stood up and essentially skidded my back over a armoire's door. I don't know if it's still there, though.

Tons of tiny (and bigger) acne scars everywhere over my back, shoulders and chest area. Some small scars on my arms where I just had tiny little abrasions and accidental scrapes - I don't even know, my arms scar really easily. A round burn scar on a finger where I dripped some burning, melted plastic on accident. A bigger one on a thumb where I got caught in the bread slicer as a kid. A bigger one on my knee from falling down as a kid. One bigger burn scar on the inside of my right ankle because I was stupid and burnt myself on the exhaust pipe of my fathers motorbike.

I'm a real beauty!

I have one under my eye that isn't noticeable unless you're looking for it. When I was a kid I was kneeling in front of my dog and told her to shake paws. She was a little overexcited at the prospect of getting a treat and missed my hand and slashed my face, just barely missing my eye. I got five stitches.

Three notable ones, one on my throat from where the hickman-catheter went in (which has been confused for a hickey far too often), one just left and down from my right breast where the catheter went out and the big one from my right arm pit to almost the top of my shoulder where my shoulder prosthetic was put in.
Also an assortment of smaller scars along my knees and hips from various surgeries.

Generally I really don't mind the scars aesthetically, but they get annoying where they cut through nerves.

I've covered in scars because I am a clumsy fool. I have a couple under my chin from falling off my tricycle as a tot. My arms and legs are all scarred up from falling off my bike so many times. I have a scar on my left wrist from burning myself with an iron by accident. I have a scar on my leg from accidentally being stabbed with a pencil. I have surgery scar from having my appendix taken out.

I have two small parallel ones on my left knee, that I really can't remember how I got. A faint one on my hip, where I lost an argument with a thorny bush as a kid. Lots of acne scars on my chest and upper arms. And then I got some self-inflicted ones around my elbows.

One long surgical scar on my vulva from when I had a hernia operation as a small child. Was always self-conscious about it (it's a very neat, barely-there line because my surgeon was fantastic, but it's made obvious by the fact that it cuts through hair) and, similarly to the OP of secret 17, I always imagined that a sex partner would want an explanation, especially considering its location. But, thus far, nobody's ever noticed it - or if they have, they haven't said anything. Guess it's just one of those things that are glaringly obvious to the self-conscious and completely negligible to everyone else...

Burn scar on my left arm from a cooking mishap. Speckled scar on my right wrist from a scooter accident when I was eight.

And a couple of scars across my knuckles from God knows where.

I have a couple.
One over my eyebrow I got by running into the sharp edge of a mirrored, square pillar in the mall in my hometown when I was 3. I was really excited about cookies and started running all over the place. My mom tells me when I came to I immediately asked if we were still going to get cookies.

Another on my eyelid that I can't remember anything about. All I know is that I apparently ran face first into a metal pipe somehow and I think I had an eyepatch for a while? It is still sort of visible as a little bump of flesh on my eyelid if you look hard enough.

I also once had to get stitches on my tongue. I was a pretty accident prone kid, all in all.

One on my eyebrow(technically it's two small scars next to each other but I count it as one) that I got through me and another girl accidentally headbutting and it going horribly wrong. And a small one on my right thigh from a nasty splinter as a kid.

1. From my cats. On my arms, hands, and legs.

2. All over my legs, from shaving.

3. On my forehead. When I was little apparently I ran face first into a wall hook.

Other than the various Marks of Unknown Origin, mine all sound like they should have more dramatic stories than they actually do. There's a cigarette burn on my wrist (not paying attention as a small child and running into my older brother's hand while he was smoking), a rottweiler bite on my knuckle (got too close while flicking water out of the pool for the dog to chase), and my "abduction scar" on the back of my neck (little raised acne scar that's exactly the size and location of the implant scars the abductees on The X-Files had).

My most prominent is on my right hand from an infected? cat scratch. (I assume infected -- it was nasty while healing, but I don't know for sure.)

I've also got acne scars on my forehead, and a minor scar on my left knee from childhood.

The main one is on the underside of my upper right arm. Had a small cyst that needed extracting.

Any other scars are so small or well hidden that I've forgot about them. (I was a cautious kid who did more gaming than I did sports or outdoor exploration. Also, I've been remarkably lucky in regards to surgery; never had anything major.)

Do stretch marks count? Have those for sure.

I don't have any big ones, but the most noticeable are the two I got on my forearm from when my friend's adventurous kitten tried to climb out onto my arm, didn't make it, and left shallow tracks on his way down. That kitten was killed by an aggressive dog soon after, so I really appreciate having something physical to remind me of him.

They're starting to fade, and I seriously considered going to a tattoo artist and seeing if I could get them tattooed on, but I decided it would defeat the point of scars if they never changed.

Ahaha this got rambly. I also have acne scars on my back but I'd rather not talk about those.

My parents have a back deck on the second story of their house, with a staircase leading down into the yard. I rode a space hopper down the staircase when I was seven or eight. My father had been trying to remove a tree stump, and he'd left all his tools out in the yard, so now I have a pickaxe scar on the back of my head.

I also have a scar on my middle finger from a tin can lid. I hope nobody ever wants to arrest me for anything, because my fingerprint would have a distinctive line.

I have one on my face from when I was a toddler. I had been left unattended, and as it's been told to me, I apparently thought it would be a really good idea to try and climb my high chair. It wound up falling on me.

It's not a scar, but it's a permanent mark, so I feel it counts: I have a chip on one of my front teeth from when I somersaulted into a coffee table.

One on my finger from when I was a little kid and my mom kept my barrettes in a glass jar and I tried to get it down from a shelf by myself one day...

One each on my right foot and my left arm, accidental bites by my rabbits when they were fighting one another and I was trying to break it up.

All are less than a centimeter in diameter and not particularly prominent, except when I'm in a hot bath or hot tub. Heat makes the skin around the areas red, while the scars remain my usual pasty white shade. XD

My biggest one is under my left ribs from kidney surgery (long story). I think the most visible one is on my left thumb from using a box cutter left-handed.

Big one on my side from heart surgery as a baby, one on my shin and another on a knuckle from IVs at the same time, and a Harry Potter-esque scar on my temple from when, as a child, a friend thought it would be a fine, fun idea to swing a cinder block around on a rope. It probably was until the rope failed and the block bit me in the head.

I haven't led a very dangerous life, which is good because I scar easily. I've got one on the top of my wrist from a knife slip, one on my forearm from digging my nails in to stay awake during an important class (then picking the scab off repeatedly....), several long scratches on my shins from hiking in shorts through thorn bushes, and several on my fingers from minor mishaps (including a biggish one on my thumb from a laser tag game that got a bit physical)
