Re: Scars!

Only one that I don't think will eventually fade. It's a stitches scar on the far right side of my lower lip. When I was six or so, I tripped and fell face-first into a ceramic flowerpot. I lost a tooth (baby tooth, thankfully) and got a huge gash in my lip. I was treated with stitches and was told they'd fall out on their own and not leave a scar. As a matter of fact they didn't fall out, they had to be picked out, and they left a scar. It's really subtle and people usually don't see it unless I point it out. If I use my tongue to make that part of my lip bulge out, it becomes obvious.

Anyway, I love it and I call it my beauty mark.

I have various other marks on my body from trips and cuts that have faded or disappeared over the years. I do have a chicken pox scar on my forehead, but it's extremely subtle - nothing more than a shallow depression in my skin a few centimeters wide. Unlike the stitches scar, it's faded slowly over time, so it may eventually disappear, even though I've had it for almost as long.
