I HATE how my housemates have to constantly be making noise - and generally loud noise at that. Like, I can hear them across the house because of how loud it is from the time they get up to when they go to bed and that drives me INSANE.

To add insult to injury, if I ask them if they could quiet down a bit because I'm studying I get told to "Fuck off" because...apparently wanting to study, and needing it quiet enough I can think is some kind of horrible thing. Or something.

I had a roommate like that. She had to announce she was home and had to announce she was leaving by stomp walking through the hallway and slamming the doors. Worse, she would leave early in the morning. (5 am).

One time she did it and woke me up when she sun had yet to rise. I lied in bed wondering if anyone else was bothered by her racket. Suddenly in the next room I heard, "GOD FUCKING DAMMIT!" Yep, our third roommate had heard it as well. And to say the least, he wasn't all too chipper about it.

Honestly, if that was it I could live. Not happily, and holy fucking crap was it not cool of her to do that and the ungodly hours of the morning ><.

It's actually kind of ridiculous how loud they are. Like they can be having a conversation downstairs on the far end of the house, and I'll hear them upstairs with headphones on. When one of them is watching tv it's even worse since that's loud enough I can actually hear what it says.

I hate that. I don't understand how some people are so noisy. Especially when it is night time and people want to sleep. Like, the person who is currently in the room next to me talks loudly on her phone at all hours of the night. It is obnoxious. I've asked her a few times to be quieter, and she will for a little while and then go back to being loud.

I feel the same way about people who blare their radios in their cars with the windows down or who turn their music up so loud it can be heard out of their headphones by the people around them.

People have no concept of the fact that not everyone wants their noise or that unwanted noise is really obnoxious and irritating. And people are selfish.

Oh man, I roommate who would talk to her friends back in Hong Kong every single night until 2am. We had paper-thin walls. I get that you want to communicate with the people you're close with, and there's a huge damn time difference, but when it's 2-fucking-am where you live with paper-thin walls, it's time to hang up. If I had to get up more than twice to ask her to be quieter, I came back a third time very UnHappy.
