Hey, I've never been in Indiana, but I mentioned this before: I've been to amusement parks on my own before and really enjoyed it (especially on week days as there are less people).

Also, not sure why visiting a big city would be that bad - it's a good place to be anonymous.

Also not sure how mobile you are or how close you are to stuff, but maybe you could explore a bit and find a new place for a nature walk?

Isn't it funny how I have this smartphone but still don't use it all the full potential? That is a really good point! Research up front is good. And I remember your comment on amusement parks! Hmm… that's the other problem. So many possibilities my eyes get dizzy!

For a lot of people it can be pretty intimidating, particularly if you're not used to big cities and/or the city in question has the...less than stellar reputation that Chicago does where crime is concerned.
