(Anonymous) 2014-07-13 12:56 am (UTC)(link)I've never seen creativity boost derived from any ship war, only resentment and nastiness. But then, I endured too many barren discussions from petty, stupid reasons when I was a kid to ever find conflict entertaining.
I'd much rather like fandoms when everyone can ship whatever they want and stop nosing in other people's preferences.
