The Ember's series.

God I hate that series.

It just felt like Zuko (and the entire fire nation???) good do No Wrong Ever, and if they ever did anything bad (you know, like GENOCIDE) it was someone else's fault/there were ~reasons~.

I could have dealt if it was an AU from the very beginning of the series, but it was supposed to happen after the end of the first season, and all that was still canon.

But yeah, not a fan of Genocide-apologism. Never actually sorry.

Pretty much this for me - there was some interesting stuff buried in there, but I got sick of the overall tone that universe took really, really fast.
