Secrets, rants, opinions, anything you want to say about your fandom or a fandom or fandom in general, do it here! Anonymously, of course. Get it all off your chest.

Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required (for those who struggle with captchas and stuff).
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.

That's about it!

Is the anime any good? I'm looking for something with cute boys in love and a good story. If it's not, do you recommend anything else along these lines? Please and thank you in advance.

The ending falls makes it fall apart, but I had some fun watching it. I'm not too familiar with any other shows that are similar.

it's kinda boring tbh. I don't even remember how it ends.

I liked it, but if you've read the novels it doesn't add much more. It was an interesting watch and I liked the main couple so I could watch it as mere fluff, but it still felt like the cliff notes to an already light novel.

Anime with gay characters? Gatchaman Crowds is nice.

Samurai Flamenco is apparently gay and has a fun plot, but I can't confirm how gay.

In the last episode, one of the male leads asks the other male lead to marry him and promises that he'll work hard to do everything his girlfriend did for him. They don't kiss or anything like that but it's...fairly gay.

There's also a side f/f pairing

According to the writer and the director it wasn't gay. They confirmed that it was "no homo".

No, they didn't. They said something vague about how they didn't really know what they were doing in that scene. They didn't mention gayness or lack thereof.

Oh, "they didn't really know what they were doing" means the writer and director said that about themselves when they did the episode, to make it clearer. It was a weird statement, and might have been an overblown try for humility (they clearly did know what they were doing).

Nope, they said that Masayoshi isn't gay. You need to reread that interview. They even said "This isn't a gay anime".

The anime's decent if you don't mind plotholes. I watched it for the canon queer love story and loved it for the characters, but like I said, beware of plotholes.

The novels are amazing though, and so is this person's translation project of them: http://9th-ave.blogspot.com/p/no-6.html

Everything makes so much more sense and the characterizations are even better.

I liked it a lot, but the ending isn't great. Its beginning and middle are really strong as they develop the world, then it rushes to a screeching, shaking finish that is confusing and underdeveloped. Would have been a better series overall if it were longer and the ending was built up more, but overall? I think it's fabulous. And not just because of the gay.
