F!S Anon Meme (the Tenth?)


Secrets, rants, opinions, anything you want to say about your fandom or a fandom or fandom in general, do it here! Anonymously, of course. Get it all off your chest.

Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required (for those who struggle with captchas and stuff).
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.

I didn't say I thought it was crap or anything. Just that I can't see anything special about it (like, for example, clever or insightful metaphors with the canon material) that would explain why people are always going "HOMG THIS IS SO AMAAAAAAZING" when it's just a fairly-well-written standard AU romance.

I certainly don't think being metaphorical is a "requirement", even for AUs. Just that if it was metaphorical, I might understand its popularity more.
