Some ground rules:

If someone posted a fanon or popular interpretation you didn't like, it was less likely to spread and be adopted by so many people as it does on tumblr. I largely am having a good time on tumblr, but seeing the same character misinterpretations on my dash is really annoying. Any rebuttals get buried in the notes and are less likely to be seen unless a BNF catches wind of it. I feel like fandom has become more hivemind-ish.

Ehhhhhh.

Draco in Leather Pants was widely adopted by a lot of people. I hated it.
