i don't know what fucking place you work at but i'd like to know because 9 times out of 10 my fucking fries are lukewarm and fucking gross and i specifically ask for unsalted because that's the only way i'm guaranteed fries that won't taste like bullshit

Your problem is not the franchise, your problem is shitty ass employees who do not care.

(though also, I once had 'fresh' fries that I myself had just witnessed pulled out, and they were soggy and weird, so there are also bad batches)

But in a rush you don't need to ask for fresh fries regardless of whether that store keeps giving you shit because I guarantee they have not been ABLE to leave fries to get bad.

AYRT (i also happen to be the wendy's anon from a few days ago)

yeah, yeah they have. i've been like, 5th or 6th in line and the fries i get are almost cold. it doesn't even make sense.

i've learned the best time to get fast food is either at 1pm or 7pm -- or very, very late (if it's one of those late-night places like rally's) when the rush is gone and they have to make the food fresh because it'd just go bad if nobody shows up

That might be a bad batch, then. Except for the cold part. That just means your employees are stupid because there is a warming rack and the FIRST THING WE LEARN about fries is they ALWAYS come out last, right before you hand the food to the customer. Again, shitty shitty employees. Demand as many fresh unsalted batches as you want from them.

DA

I'm so surprised and I commend you, it's refreshing to see someone who takes their work seriously. Good for you and I'm glad a person like you exists today. I hope you have a wonderful weekend anon.

SA!

Also I, she who rants for hours about fries, personally give you permission to demand as many unsalted batches as you want from shitty ass employees who don't care. I have no patience for people who don't do the job they are paid to do.

You know how you get soggy fries? The fries were either old, or the fries were thawed before going in. That's a problem with inconsistent freezing as much as anything, and there's not much your average employee can do about that one.

Yeah, we get warned multiple times during training that if you leave fries out too long they will get soggy. And out of the dozens of boxes in our freezer, at least one large fry is bound to be a dud.
