Re: [tw: suicide anon again]
(Anonymous) 2014-07-19 11:42 pm (UTC)(link)I agree with the others in that it sounds like migraines. If you got them before you started taking medicine, I'd wager that while the meds might affect it (make it better/worse/different) it may be independent from them, rather than a side effect.
When are you seeing your doctor next? If you can, definitely try to talk to them about it. If that's difficult, I'm pretty sure there are some sites where you can talk to doctors online, but I'm afraid they'd only be able to give you suggestions and would probably just tell you to talk to your doctor in person... hm. Either way, I definitely agree with the suggestion to talk to your doctor. I know it's a hassle, but if it can make the headaches go away, it will be worth it.
In the meantime (I hope nobody yells at me for suggesting this), you could maybe try some natural "treatment", see if that helps? I'm hesitant to recommend taking any kind of migraine medication since I'm definitely not qualified for that, but things like green or black tea, ginger, peppermint, feverfew, etc. are all touted as being helpful. It may be worth it to see if anything like that helps.
I hope you feel better soon. Let us know. ♥

(Anonymous) 2014-07-20 12:34 am (UTC)(link)Antacids can do this, too; by reducing the amount of acid in your stomach, any meds you take get absorbed a hundredfold into your bloodstream. Don't ask me how I know this, I really don't want to relive that particularly unpleasant experience.
But, yeah, anon, talk to your pharmacist, if you can. Can you phone the drugstore from work?
