Re: Attempting a no-shampoo run on my hair
I have no idea how that thing you are trying works, but let us know if it's successful or not.
Re: Attempting a no-shampoo run on my hair
(Anonymous) 2014-07-25 06:24 am (UTC)(link)i've heard that combing your hair regularly can help with that? like, the oils produced by the scalp aren't travelling down the hair shaft properly, which is what causes the oily top/dry rest of hair. apparently combing/brushing is supposed to help distribute the oils more evenly (brushing curly hair can turn it into a fluffball, but even just combing a few times a day should help?).

(Anonymous) 2014-07-26 12:13 am (UTC)(link)Keep in mind that if you go sulphate-free you have to go silicone product-free, otherwise you'll end up with serious build-up issues.
Re: Attempting a no-shampoo run on my hair
I'm actually pretty satisfied with washing it every couple days with standard shampoo as long as I don't let it go any longer.
