I do it to keep track of responses and to edit comments. I get about the same attention as I do when I post anon, like now, so...I dunno.

Same. I'll sometimes post anon if the conversation is exceptionally serious because I get anxious about arguments, but it's annoying to have to leave sixty tabs open to keep track of things.

Okay, sure. I log in when I want attention. I anon when I don't. Is there anything really bad about that? Attention is a human need.
